Job Title: Workshop Manager (EASA/FAA 145)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager (EASA/FAA 145) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all workshop operations, ensuring compliance with EASA/FAA regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise all activities within the workshop, including repairs, modifications, and inspections.
  2. Ensure compliance with EASA/FAA 145 regulations and standards at all times.
  3. Develop and implement efficient workflow processes to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to workshop staff, including technicians, engineers, and support personnel.
  5. Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  6. Coordinate with other departments, such as quality assurance, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
  7. Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts related to workshop operations and performance.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the aviation MRO sector.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, aviation management, etc.).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  3. EASA/FAA 145 certification is required.
  4. Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, standards, and best practices.
  5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  8. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Fluency in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of French or Arabic is a plus.
